We didn't have any contested races in the Democratic party this year. I switched to Republican to do some protest voting.

In NH you could switch parties at the polls and switch back on the way out. In PA you have to do it well in advance (60 or 90 days or something). Protest votes at least register, even if they aren't effective.

he is an airforce major and in charge of the JROTC program at the high school where i work. his white, chief petty officer is a democrat. they are both from the south and the major is far more liberal (like a democrat) than the chief.
