Who would have thought that Nixon was such a titan - at least compared to the current occupant of the White House.

(15,805 posts)Putin was never going to admit Russia's involvement in hacking our elections. Why should he? Trump doesn't admit it either because he can't allow that to become evidence that could be used against him. Trump can't let Russia be instrumental in getting him elected because then he becomes the loser, the illegitimate president without power or prestige, and without that image Trump is nothing more than the stupid, petty, grasping, bully he's always been.
