A handful of Pennsylvania State officers are under fire this month as attorneys review video showing arrestee Robert Leone being beaten to a bloody pulp.

Leone, 33, filed a federal lawsuit against cops after the March 2010 arrest, when he alleged that he was Tasered, hog-tied and assaulted after a low-speed car chase, the Daily News reported.

A 75-minute video of the incident (clip below) went viral on YouTube after it was released last month. The footage, taken from a dashboard camera in one of the police cruisers, appears to show an officer jumping from the top of Leone's car onto his back, while others give him a barrage of feet and fists, according to the Press & Sun-Bulletin.

Further audio recording reveals one of the officers screaming at Leone in a profanity-laced outburst.

1. To Serve and Protect?

Yea right! I've worked with LEO's all around the East coast and most all of them were truly good people. I used to think that the problem was lack of psychological evaluation of prospective candidates. Without asserting resources I'm pretty sure that something on the order of 90% of abuse or excessive force inquiries are generated by less than 10% of the staff I think that would still be a good thing to do but I now think the problem is more systemic.
Way back when I was a kid it used to be that, as a white kid, you always were taught that police were your friends and who you could go to for help.
In the past few decades our police forces have become too disassociated from the community they serve. When the cop on the block has to drive an hour to get to his job and spends most of his day in a steel carriage, they feel no connection to the community they supposedly serve.
Add to that the total militarization of the police forces, only for the profit of our great and wonderful arms dealers. Have you ever gone to a police training academy in the last decade? They are nothing short of military training. Want better pay? Train for a SWAT.
Is SWAT needed? Of course but to serve a warrant? I don't think so.
I hope these troopers get their fair share of justice and get a little better perspective on the jobs they were hired to do. Even more than that I would hope that their brethren would get that slap in the face moment to understand that the entire population isn't an enemy, they actually pay their salary.

They may be mostly good people, but if they don't step in to stop abuse when they see it, that's not too good.
