Republicans have been trying for years to undermine free speech with their silly labels like "liberal media" and so on.
Here's the thing...the pResident is sworn to uphold the Constitution. He violates this oath as he repeatedly calls our press "fake". Just yesterday he cynically laughed at the press when egged on by Putin, a man who has journalists put to death in his country for articles he doesn't like.
Republicans love authoritarianism.
No wonder a free press is their enemy.
