(16,926 posts)is so brutal - and so true.
Orange Cheat-o came in with the West looking for leadership - and they found a shadow - someone with NO idea about a policy or vision - and ceding global leadership to Russia and China.
Boy, isn't that making America Great Again?

(6,699 posts)The rest of the world can see the sad state we find ourselves in. Our country is too sick and divided to call it like it is. Shameful state of affairs. Thanks dRumpsters.

(15,411 posts)to preserve western values "but its the unscripted Trump that is real . . .who wastes his precious days as President at war with American institutions" uneasy lonely awkward figure at the G20. "Donald Trump has pressed fast forward on the decline of the United States".

(15,411 posts)and thanks for the correct.
It's like Trump is a metaphor for the whole country, at least the 40+% who voted for him.
I didn't realize it was a correct LOL
Yeah, I listened to his words and was just STUNNED at how he's nailed this whole situation
considering much of my job was proof reading you'd think I'd remember.....
he was good. This should be posted everywhere. Wish Trump would hear it. Not sure he's capable.

(9,895 posts)Trump is striking matches and throwing them into a pool of gasoline around the Japanese and South Koreans and 30,000 + US Servicemen on the peninsula...that would be worst of all-time with a metaphorical bullet...

(19,199 posts)in a speech written FOR Trump, he's a vacant lot. There's hamsters going round and round on a wheel in his head. What could he POSSIBLY have in common with the other world leaders at the G20? Pussy grabbing? 'Tweet' wars with TV hosts? How to obtain financing for golf courses from Russian mobsters? How thick is the gold on YOUR toilet seat?
I don't think Trump ever WANTED to be President, but having the job handed to him by Russia he at least has to go through the motions. To him, that means going to these BORING meetings, talking to people that actually have a rudimentary knowledge of world events and diplomacy, listening to members of Congress TALK and TALK about "bills", and "healthcare" and tedious things like that! This is no fun! No hookers to pee on him, not much golf (in HIS estimation, anyway), no hanging around the bus with Billy Bush and discussing "women's issues"...........just.......no........fun!
Trump is used to being the most popular person at any gathering (where the guest lists are usually written by people who MAKE SURE OF THAT). At these gatherings, which have the world's greatest leaders assembled, he's a no one. He's a pariah, a social outcast. He's the loneliest man in the room.
HE HATES BEING PRESIDENT!
But not NEARLY as much as Americans HATE him BEING President!

(23,220 posts)I have no doubt that Drumpf's Mafia henchmen (Manafort, Flynn, Bannon, Ryan, McConnell, Tillerson, Jared, Don Jr., et al.) were in on the multi-billion-dollar sale of Rosneft stock to a Cayman shell corporation last December. They will profit handsomely from the lifting of sanctions against Russia.

(21,137 posts)We are now reduced to a lesser country with no stature because a bunch of scared white racists fell for his bullshit and were not impeded to vote. While those who knew the truth about him were suppressed in voting or their votes were manipulated and possibility flipped by Russia and the GOP.
I weep for the lost of our country and democracy. Everyday institutions are being dismantled and made into shells of what they once were. The ethics people resigning was a total disgrace.

(5,810 posts)From time to time he flashed his big, phony smile and went into his bigger than life mode, but it was only for show and not sustainable. In his role as President, he has to do this far more than he'd like. He would much rather be doing things he enjoys like hitting a golf ball around and chewing the fat with his buds. Making deals, right, Donnie? He can be crude, say inappropriate things and just be himself. With this bunch of international leaders, he had to act like he had a clue, which is hard work when you are clueless. He had to act like he was engaged and interested. Here again it is hard work when you are obsessed with bragging about your victories and besides talking about the future of the world is soooo boring. When do we break? Do we get a nap time? I need a Diet Coke.
Nope, he found out that no one was very interested in him or working to get in his good graces. Once they met him, they pretty much had him pegged. In fact, they made it plain they are moving on with or without him. That was a knife in the heart to a guy who lives and breathes attention and praise. He was just another attendee and one who turned out to not be top dog. It seems that being President is not nearly as much fun as he thought it would be and people talk back, disagree with you and sometimes they even ignore you if you piss them off enough. Sucks to be you, huh, Donnie?
