Graham unloads on Trump: Blind spot on Russia 'undermining his entire presidency'

A senior Senate Republican on Sunday said President Trump’s plan to work with Russia on cybersecurity is “pretty close” to the “dumbest idea I’ve ever heard.”

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) called Trump’s Friday meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin “disastrous” and said the president has a “blind spot” on Russia.

“When it comes to Russia I am dumbfounded, I am disappointed, and at the end of the day he’s hurting his presidency by not embracing the fact that Putin is a bad guy,” Graham said on NBC News’s “Meet the Press.”

“He is literally the only person I know of who doesn’t believe Russia attacked our election in 2016,” Graham said of Trump, who has said that “nobody really knows” whether the Russians were behind attempts to hack the 2016 presidential election.

Seriously--what's to undermine?

Will it hurt Trump's golf handicap? Reduce his enjoyment of beautiful chocolate cake? Cause him to forget when his limo is parked directly in front of him at the base of the steps to his gigantic personal aircraft?

Let me know when he starts introducing and passing legislation in the Senate to deal with the Russian threat.

And there are many of them, eventhough they won't admit it. I hope they rise up and help us get rid of the Trump stain on this country. Then we can get back to settling our legitimate policy differences with them once we again have a functioning government.

And he knows it.

So he has to throw as much interference and undermining as possible. Anything else will be thrown back at him when the shit hits the fan.

He never quite folds the same way twice but he always folds.

Meaningless talk from a meaningless conservative. Not that there is any other kind.

I see there's a story right above this one on John McCain announcing the health bill is likely dead.

...But if it were introduced he'd be the first to scrawl his john henry on it.

Graham comes out once a month or two to cover his ass with moderate Republican voters to try and maintain some bare semblance of credibility by trying to act and speak like he actually has a brain and a moral compass. Just like his Tweedle brother.

Republicans are so easy.

I suppose it stresses the obviousness of the conclusion, but really! tRump's actions are consistent with that of a criminal. It shouldn't matter who calls his actions troubling, THEY ARE TROUBLING!!!

Is that what we're calling the betrayal of our Constitution, a "blind spot"? Just wow.
