5. The problem with 2018 is there is only 2 Republican held US Senate seats up in 2018 that

of the NUCLEAR OPTION.

8. We have a lot of seats to defend

And nobody knows what effect Trump will have when he rallies his base, which is still clinging on to him. Other than Colorado, I completely disagree with your estimated pickups, and I see us potentially having tough fights in Minnesota, Michigan, and maybe Virginia.

It would not surprise me if the GOP strengthens itself next year, making Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski irrelevant to their schemes. Just hope like hell that Ruth Bader Ginsberg does not get another health crisis. It seems to happen about every ten years with her, and if that's the case, she's due for one soon.

2020 re-election bids but I expect them to win by at least a high single digit margin.
