Oh dear. I just saw an ad for MundoFox.

(Crossposted from the Latino/Hispanic Group)

I didn't even realize there was a MundoFox. "Americano como tu" is the slogan. Translation: American like you.

Is MundoFox related to Fox News? It has to be. Imagine the duplicity. Fox News pushes the anti-immigration agenda, and reels in the right-wing conservative vote. And MundoFox reels in the latinos, who will not realize that if they fall for the propaganda, they will be led into voting against their interest.

What do we have to combat this?

However, having lived in a Latin American country it was interesting to see how my family members relied on word of mouth rather than the state sponsored television. Use to love to hear the vigorous political discussions when we got together with the larger family units.

I just wouldn't make broadbrush assumptions about any voting sector in the U.S., regardless of ethnic background.
