Gee-Wonder what's been going on for the past two years or so (He asks, but fully knowing the answer)?

I do believe you had to travel far and wide to come up with that statement about Islamists and Christians.

(4,607 posts)And it's not just the rampant anti-reality anti-intellectualism in the GOP.
The snowflake movement on college campuses gets relentless play in conservative entertainment. Everyday they run screaming headlines about random entitled college snowflakes throwing tantrums over "safe spaces" and demanding that speakers be banned and so forth.
As with so much in conservative entertainment, the editors are exploiting this stuff for cheap clickbait, but the hate herd take it seriously and form their opinions about the world based on it.
