No matter what party holds the House or Senate there will be politics played. And being un-American is not illegal so what is the reason other than to destroy a persons reputation based on some biased list of values.

People involved shouldn't get a slap on the hand or even be allowed to maintain their jobs - and they should be fined into poverty.
Where the law requires, they should also be jailed.
But a wholesale HUAC-type thing? No.
