Nobody should waste a minute of their lives getting worked up over DWS' ability to communicate. There are better players On the field, obviously.

Clear talking points and sound bites. Where are all the Dems with clear condemnation?? There should be a unified force. A parade of people all shouting collusion. What did the President know and when did he know it??? Ad nauseum!!!!! So frustratiing!!!!

key issues and events whenever they speak in public. The Repubs actively devise, disseminate, and stick to the talking points they are given, even wrenching interviews and TV/radio panel discussions back to the day's or week's talking points, regardless of what an interviewer or panel moderater wants to discuss.

Our guys don't need to be as obnoxious or as simple-minded in their presentation as GOP mouths so often are, but they do need guidance on talking points before they go out there, and if necessary, the leadership should arrange for coaching and practice sessions for any Dem public figure who might need it.

Especially since Repubs are given at least two of these times as much media exposure to get their message out, Dems need to be ready to take full advantage of the limited amount of time they get.

They also need coaching and practice on not letting GOP mouths Gish Gallop them or about them into silence. In the former situation, Dems get sidetracked into wasting time trying to respond to BS claims while the Republican has already talked on to the next lie. In the latter, the Dem just sits there politely, hoping to get a word in edgewise, but unwilling to butt in or shout over the blather of the Republican mouth.

But American voters don't respect Dems for being civil. Quite the opposite: they mock them for being "weak."

Unfortunately, this is a society that responds not to reasoned political discourse, but to WWE insults and braggadocio. We shouldn't become cartoonish loudmouth (as so many GOP mouths have become), but we must not come across as weak or mousey, either, nor can we let our people mumble or stutter their way through broadcast appearances.

To reiterate my main point: Dems need coaching and training on effective speaking, expecially when in an argument with a right winger, and they also need to get their talking points and get them out there in a unified way.

Their talking points so that they can perfect their message. The awkward stumble bumble comes across as unsure and weak!! It drives me crazy that the the Repubs can stick to their ridiculous message and taking points even when they have to choke the words out. I know we can do better.

And there is no 'the message'. There are number of messages which are getting out. Also, the primary is over. She is one rep among many...

Such a pat attack on an easy target. I wouldn't worry about one person - there's lots of less-than-stellar spokespeople out there on any given day.

It is terrifying that the oaf in office still has support. It is due to messaging and visuals. They, in the face of it all, still stick to a message and strong rebuttal support of Trump even if it is ridiculous. We have so much ammunition right now and we can't seem to get our players together!!! We trot out old has beens???? Where are the young democrats, with a loud coherent message??? Booker the Castro brothers, Patrick Deval, Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris?????

We have loud and proud Dems that represent us all who should be getting air time right now. Laying groundwork for possible 2020 runs, instead we are dealing with retreads and quiet response that is being bumbled.

I see Ben Sasse already staking his claim for a run. He wrote a book and he has been commenting against Trump. He is getting traction. People know who he is know. What is our side doing???? I am terrified that we are messing up a gift wrapped package. Yawn all you want we don't sound or look good right now when we should be the shining light at the end of a dark tunnel.
