2. Why does it bother me so much that Trump continues

to refer to what he perceives as unfair persecution as a Witch Hunt? Ninety percent of the people murdered as "witches" were women, most of them odd or mentally ill or just old, certainly without friends in high places, and the witch-hunters feared the "power" these poor women held. These women, among the least powerful of their societies, were seen as a threat to the most powerful. Somehow I feel like he is co-opting mistreatment of women, sort of like the abuser who blames the victim. This, on top of his award-winning misogyny, really pisses me off.

Of course, it's probably just due to his extremely limited vocabulary that he can't think of anything else to call it, but even that's a piss-poor excuse. (And why am I using the word "piss" twice in one post?) As is the RW insistence on being the victim--that's right, Donald, you're the *president, and you're the victim.
