Hewitt is doing us a favor by giving us a glimpse of what we're up against. He's quite comfortable in giving a voice to fake news so long as it shifts the real focus away from Trump's wrongdoing, and that speaks to his own lack if integrity, a common character flaw shared by far too many Republicans today.
