Let me get this straight. Our Health Care is currently safe from being dismantled because...

an 80 year old man is recovering from brain surgery???

And this 80 year old man's health care is some of the best coverage available because it is provided by the United States Senate AND even if they do dismantle our healthcare, this guy still gets his incredibly good coverage because he and his colleagues have made sure to exempt themselves from the Dismantling of Health Care Act of 2017????

Sort of a limbo state where he cannot go back and vote, but is still alive so he cannot be replaced.

the 2015 Congressional Research Service paper “Health Benefits for Members of Congress and Designated Congressional Staff.” Over the years, we’ve seen false claims that Congress was somehow “exempt” from the health care law. But, in fact, the law places this additional requirement on Congress that doesn’t pertain to other Americans with employer-provided health care.)

Members of Congress have good health insurance by any standard, but it’s not free and not reserved only for them – and it’s not government insurance. House and Senate members are allowed to purchase private health insurance offered through the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, which covers more than 8 million other federal employees, retirees and their families.'>>>

In other words, they get to keep their magnificent coverage courtesy of Obamacare while the rest of us get screwed once they pass it.

McCain's current coverage is courtesy of Obamacare and he gets to keep it while the rest of us are fucked if he ever gets back to D.C. and votes to fuck us all.

The farther he is away from Washington, the farther he is from hands that want to pull plugs. I wish that was a joke, but not today with the Russkies knowing he made a big stink about them.
