His parents said he just needed to sleep. A SWAT team came instead. MORONS

HINGHAM — As police cars rolled into his pristine suburban neighborhood last Saturday night, past the sprawling Colonials and manicured lawns, and as dozens of officers from across the region surrounded his home, Russell Reeves begged them again and again to back off.

In a bedroom upstairs his son Austin, 26, was distraught over a breakup. He had told his family he needed time alone. With him was his dog and his 9 mm handgun. If you pressure him, if he feels cornered, Reeves said he told the police, this will end with Austin killing himself.

The police listened and nodded and took notes in their notebooks, according to Reeves. And yet, more officers kept coming. Some wore camouflage and carried rifles. They set up bright lights to shine onto the house and drove a military-style vehicle into the backyard. Eventually, they broke seven upstairs windows so a mounted camera could look inside for Austin.

This made me furious. ONE trained person talking to him through the door might have averted this.
He was a danger only to himself unless he had a SAM with him.
I guess they needed to train and play with their toys.
"You can't kill yourself. We have to kill you."
(Yes I know he did shoot himself in the end but their actions made no sense. That seemed to be the motto)

My heart goes out to the family.

This situation made me think of the research that says if you have guns in the home, you're more likely to have murder or suicide. Honestly, I hate guns.

Minneapolis Police Kill Australian Lady Engaged To American Businessman

This one's just unbelievable. Maybe.....Just Maybe......since this time it's a White Woman, there is a sliver of a chance the cop who killed her will be convicted.

An Australian woman has been shot dead by police in the United States, after calling 911 to report a disturbance in a nearby alley. Justine Ruszczyk was at home on Saturday night when she called police to report a noise and a possible assault in a nearby alley in South Minneapolis, Minnesota.

When police arrived at her home at around 11.30pm, 'one officer fired their weapon, fatally striking the woman' as she reportedly stood in her driveway. Ms Ruszczyk, 40, was originally from Sydney but had been living in the US for three years and was due to marry American businessman Don Damond, 50, next month.

And just hours after the shooting he spoke to a local activist group, slamming police over the death. 'Basically my mum's dead because a police officer shot her for reasons I don't know,' Zach Damond said. 'I demand answers. If anybody can help, just call police and demand answers. I'm so done with all this violence. It's so much bulls**t. America sucks.

'She was a very passionate woman, she thought something bad was happening - and next thing you know they take my best friend's life.' Friends of the woman told the Star Tribune that she had often spoken out against gun violence and told 'how much better' things were in Australia. Ms Ruszczyk was a 'corporate speaker, trainer and coach' who worked to spiritually help others, according to her website and social media accounts.

That cops are not here to help people anymore.

They make arrests and shoot people.
