...is...YOU don't want to be like those people do you??? Because if you vote for Obama then you are an angry, lazy freeloader just like them!"

Romney is such an ass. Somebody better be asking that asshole why he's a racist jerk.

In effect, what Ronney did was speak tovthe NAACP for the express purpose of inciting anger which he would parlay into a racist "us vs them" political attack.

This is one of the most blatant, disgusting and overtly racist actions EVER commuted by any politician. It's outrageous snd sick.

Among the Dixiebaggers, mistrust of Mormons will be trumped by hatred of Black and Brown people every time. So this was coals to Newcastle. The ultimate result will be to get more fence-sitters and potential stay-at-home Dem voters to realize just what a POS Rmoney really is and get their asses to the polls to reject him.

The Reagan "welfare queen" mentality. If we allow it, those lazy good for nothing free loaders will milk the government in any way they can. Mitt's a tough guy....if he's president, he'll put a stop to that!! Watch out for Mitt.....he'll straighten out those lazy bums who want "free stuff". Guess he won't be satisfied until all of those who are "in need" are out on the streets, homeless, hungry and without adequate medical care. Maybe he'll extend govt help to the disabled and veterans ,if for no other reason than to look like he's got a "heart". Bain Capital policies on steroids. Scary.

QUOTE
Governor Mitt Romney tonight at a fundraiser about his speech today before the NAACP -

"By the way, I had the privelege of speaking today at the NAACP convention in Houston and I gave them the same speech I am giving you. I don't give different speeches to different audiences alright. I gave them the same speech. When I mentioned I am going to get rid of Obamacare they weren't happy, I didn't get the same response. That's ok, I want people to know what I stand for and if I don't stand for what they want, go vote for someone else, that's just fine. But I hope people understand this, your friends who like Obamacare, you remind them of this, if they want more stuff from government tell them to go vote for the other guy-more free stuff. But don't forget nothing is really free. it has to paid for by people in the private sector creating goods and services, and if people want jobs more than they want free stuff from government, then they are going to have to get government to be smaller. And if they don't want to repeal Obamacare they are going to have to give me some other stuff they are thinking about cutting, but my list takes Obamacare off first and I have a lot of other things I am thinking of cutting."

that he was talking about his NAACP audience. He says "I hope people understand this, your friends who...want free stuff from the government..." It doesn't sound like he was signaling out the NAACP audience to me, in fact, it sounds quite the opposite. Again, just to be fair.

The "and I have a lot of other things I am thinking of cutting," is the really scary line. What are those things, Mitt? What are you considering cutting?

he wasn't singling out the NAACP audience. I also don't believe he is a racist. He's clueless about anyone who isn't in his "circle" regardless of their ethnicity. Material wealth he understands and cares deeply about. Hasn't Mitt mentioned a list of things he plans on cutting? I'll have to search for it.

...in another thread.

Watch Romney use that NAACP speech to define Obama supporters as lazy people who want their free goodies from the government. And guess what? This is a racist dog whistle to all of their biggoted supporters.

The Rombey campaign staged that NAACP speech to define Obama supporters as unruly angry freeloaders. They're playing to the worst of people and they're hoping that the rest of the country is as racist as they are.

Romney's messaging strategy that he staged: Are you with me--a classy, rich guy OR are you with Obama and his slovenly, freeloaders who only want there government handouts.

Romney couldn't convince anyone that he is a decent, intelligent human being. So, he decided to rip Obama to shreds by defining Obama snd his supporters with lies, staged bullshit and a campaign of shameless distortions.
