Writing is on the Wall - Trump is going down - as GOP now eats its own

Just FYI - a series of articles (Other than the McCain thingys) - on the GOP rank & file turning on the Donald.

The die is cast and Trump's end looms large. Though we are doomed to still have a GOP in the WH (succession line is Pence, then Ryan, then Hatch - or anyone 'planted' - should one such resign and be replaced); it will be a great relief to see the Orange Klan - gone.

Don't think we've reached the breaking point yet. Cheeto and company have a few more lives left.

or negative airs.

The line of succession is Pence, Ryan and then Orin (or anybody "planted" should one of those resign and be replaced).

GOP power centers don't want a Mormon in the WH (if they can help it); and Pence, Ryan may also be tainted.

It took 18 months to get Nixon to call it quits.

Trump has much more serious concerns than 8 minutes of missing tape;
and a lot less (narcissistic) tolerance for the prevailing negative winds.

but he's not quitting anytime soon if he doesn't have to. The $$upside$$ is too big, plus we don't know what the Russians have on him. He may have no choice but to stay for now or until the Russians no longer need him.

Keep in mind in the Nixon days, we still had some decent republicans who put country before party which is obviously not the case right now.

I agree, Pence and Ryan are probably tainted as well.

Impeachment?
25th Amendment?

Could something extra-Constitutional (outside the Constitution but not prohibited by the Constitution) happen? I wonder whether an attempt to do this will occur if DJT starts pardoning lots of folks involved in an obvious illegal conspiracy with Russia. The only way to prevent his pardoning the criminals and hindering investigations is to say he never was a legitimate president.

that his price is $1 billion.

Once the RNC comes across with that... he's gone, daddy, gone.

or perhaps it was 86 to 84. Whatever.

But we're well into the 2018 election cycle, and removal would dominate the rest of it. Remember, Trump's election was a REJECTION of the Republican leadership. His voters wanted him to save their government programs from their own party, and they don't want Democrats to do it.

Rump's kickable eventually, but not yet.
