he has *gained* support during his six months in office? Sure, the assholes (and the curious and, I hope, the protesters) will reliably show up for his shit, but do the Republicans in Congress really think his base *isn't* shrinking? Not by a lot, to be sure, but I can't believe he has gained any new voters with his behavior.
