KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine — A large dead fish believed to be a basking shark washed ashore on Ocean Avenue between St. Anne’s Church and the Bush family summer compound at Walker’s Point Monday morning.

Grounds crews at St. Anne’s Church noticed the large heavily decayed carcass on the rocky beach north of St. Anne’s early Monday morning, according to Kennebunkport Town Manager Laurie Smith.

She said officials from the Maine Department of Marine Resources identified the fish as a basking shark. Adult basking sharks can weigh as much as 4,900 pounds and be well over 20 feet long, according to the New England Basking Shark & Ocean Sunfish Project.

“This one’s bigger than a vehicle. It’s huge,” Smith said.

After reading the title, I clicked on the thread - honestly, I thought it was going to be a story about Dick Cheney, hahaha

"I'm confident that it'll work," he said, while admitting to some uncertainty over how much dynamite to use.

Predictably, the press published the perfect purple prose

"The blast blasted blubber beyond all believable bounds."

Baby Bush killed the Republican party and Trump sprang forth from the rot.
