The Republican Party made repeal of the ACA a primary goal before it was passed, and long before Putin and Trump colluded to get him elected president. Repeal of the ACA is irrelevant to Russia's goals, which are primarily to regain its role as a major power.

As a political strategy conflating the disaster that would be inflicted on tens of millions of people by repealing the ACA with the Russian Scandal is a real bad idea. It just confuses something that is really simple by combining it with somethign that is pretty complicated, and it lets the Republican Party off the hook.

By conflating these issues the problem is just Trump and can be solved by removing Trump.
