He's petty and holds a grudge.

McCain waivered on his campaign, was highly critical of him at various times and ultimately was responsible for the Steele Dossier being turned over.

He might not go beyond the generic written statement his office put out.

but don't promote falsehoods. Obama was the first to make a statement, but Trump made a statement as well. I am in France reading it on French news, so I find it hard to believe you can't find it in the US.

"Donald Trump, avec qui les relations étaient tendues, a dans un communiqué déclaré que le sénateur avait "toujours été un combattant".

"Melania et moi envoyons nos pensées et prières au sénateur McCain, à Cindy et toute sa famille. Remettez-vous vite", a-t-il dit."

He's quick to tweet about any and everything. You hear that kind of news and you stop everything to be one of the first to say something. When I was on Twitter last night, I saw four statements in a row from Obama, Hillary, Bill and Ana Navarro. I went to see if Trump had said anything yet and he hadn't. So, we don't need to know that you oppose Trump, but we also don't need a lecture about something that hadn't happened yet. People aren't fortune tellers.
