and YES, he definitely brought a tear (more like tears) to my eyes. The audience loved him. Who gets "booed" because he is going to stop speaking? It was actually "Noooooo....", but it sure made it quite clear how they felt about Joe.

He is so real. I love that man. I know exactly what he means about having been taught by those NAACP folks in DEL. I was taught by African Americans in the Army with me. Especially Sgt Ruby J.

Haven't seen her in a long, long time. Hope she's well and enjoying some good Memphis BBQ.

His speech got better as he went on. I got a phone call about 3/4 through the speech so I missed the end but what I watched was outstanding.
