I've said this before but I highly recommend taking political mental health days to recharge a little bit. Trump and his cabal of crazy doesn't seem to take a single day off. It's almost like they have a schedule of stupid that is followed to the T every day. It can become overwhelmingly disheartening when it never stops.

12-3:30 AM - usually nothing, rarely an article drops

3:30-7:00 AM stupid tweets from a stupid man

7:00-9:00 AM blow back from the stupid tweets

9:00-10:00 AM crying about the blowback from the stupid tweets

10:00 AM-12:00 PM morning breaking news

12:00-1:00 PM The best words from the WH, and/or lawyers/advocates about the morning breaking news story

1:00-2:30 PM more jabberwocky courtesy of the "not" press briefing

3:00-6:00 PM afternoon breaking news item

7:00-8:00 PM something stupid from the WH

8:30-9:30 PM evening breaking news

9:30-10:30 PM extra special late evening breaking news courtesy of WaPo

10:45 PM NOT A PUPPET, NOT A PUPPET

11:00 PM get to sleep with full knowledge that tomorrows news event cycle will be almost a carbon copy of today's. It'll
probably be worse and the controlling political party and their goonish voters will just ignore it like this is perfectly
peachy keen. On the other hand we're being burned out trying to keep pace with everything.

They are playing Shock and Awe politics and amping up their game regularly. Next move, Health Care bill one more time.

is being dismantled at a steady pace, without much news coverage at all unless you really dig for it.

While cable news focuses on what is largely juvenile antics.

Guess what...it is not happening. In fact we are in it for the long game. Indivisible is pacing themselves, using thoughtful and realistic strategies, and learning very quickly using the blueprint from the Tea Party. I am very, very impressed.

Like Garry Kasparov says, it's the dissenters who give a country hope.
