If Paul Ryan can't handle himself around bare-armed women...

...he needs to control himself, not the women.

The penchant for conservative men to refuse to GROW UP and take responsibility for their own behavior - and whom instead prefer to push responsibility for their own behavior off on women - is what is behind the American Taliban aka Republicans' pro-rape, pro-forced-birth culture which seeks to enslave American women as trash receptacles into which these men dump all their own personality problems, insecurities, and their unacceptable behaviors and most of all the punishment/consequences for it - whilst they get off scot-free with their records, careers and futures still bright.

Women to these Republicans are not humans. They are trash cans, male service units, incubators. They are the toilet paper men wipe their shit on and flush.

Republicans and their extremist MRA libertarian contingent are spoilt, self-entitled, arrogant, yet insecure men who are very ANGRY at their Mommas and the world for not absolving them of all responsibility for their behavior and the consequences of it and who did not - at all times - uphold the crown of white male privilege to which they believe they are entitled while others pay for their personal shortcomings and personality issues.

I'm so sick of these bastards.

And I know of which I speak. I'm related to one of him. He's 67 years old and his mother STILL buys his groceries and cooks for him. He voted for TRUMP because he said he wasn't "going to vote for any feminism".

Well. There you go.

1. As much as it pains me to defend Paul Ryan, the rule was in place for years

Nancy Pelosi didn't get rid of it for example. Sometimes outdated rules stay in place because nobody challenges it.

3. This is the kind of behavior that boys are raised with

Look at any school dress code. Girls' clothes are policed much more than boys' clothes because they could 'tempt' the boys by looking at a bare shoulder, knee, etc.

It is a problem that is not going away anytime soon. Anyone raising a son needs to teach them very early on that girls/women are human beings instead of sex objects and need to be treated as such.

4. Agree. Parents just need to raise their boys to value and respect girls/women as human beings.

Unfortunately, Republican/American Taliban have other ideas.
