Through voter suppression gerrymandering, election fraud, Russian meddling et al made this last election a coup and not an election. There were so many irregularities it is sick. The Democrats refusal to address stealing peoples vote and not challenging voter ID is a big problem. Now Trump and his commission will make sure that NO Democrat can win even dog catcher if they get their way.

Sure Hillary may have made some mistakes and perhaps was NOT the ideal candidate. But a fucking mangy dog should have won. And it is a good bet that Hillary actually did win. The key states going the way they did is absurd. All by similar margins and all in just a few key counties is a smoking gun.

Plus Hillary had a message moving forward. It is just that the media gave the GOP all the public ground and talking points. They focused on the falsehoods about her emails. There was NOTHING crooked about Hillary. IT WAS ALL MADE UP. How do you get a message out when 95% of the media and talk radio is ultra right wing and racist?

Schemer is a God Damned idiot. Can't we better than this weak kneed crap head. Why do we keep shoot ourselves in the head. The fact is that Russian meddling will be even worse by 2018. They know that Trump and the GOP will destroy the country and make us irrelevant. And they know the GOP is really on their side.

I helped trained poll watchers in Harris County and we blunted the efforts of the local teabagger election official to steal the election. Voting irregularities have been getting worse since Obama won. And the GOP is working at plugging all the holes that got Obama elected twice. Gains by GOP in 2010 were questionable in some ways. And the media helped frame the change in Social Security under the ACA as an Obama cut, which is was not.

We had the benefit of a good court order on voter id and a well organized party and even then it was not a complete success. The GOP still suppressed the vote and the GOP will continue to try to suppress the vote. The best we did was to lessen the effects of GOP voter suppression and get some good Democrats elected.

I spend a ton of time volunteering in this area and there is a great deal left to be done. I am hopeful that the court in Corpus will strike down the Voter id law and that three judge panel in San Antonio will order new boundaries in the Texas redistricting case. The battle continues.

But if all the Democrats harp on is that the election was stolen, they're going to keep losing for the foreseeable future. They can't keep blaming everything but themselves, refuse to make changes to better themselves, and expect things to get better.

Instead, the party needs to look at itself in the mirror and figure out what it can do to help voters understand why they should come out and vote Democrat.

Even though the Democrats need to do better. Voting irregularities now play a major roll. Voter ID must be addressed for the racism it is. And it must be addressed because it is outright denial of the right to vote. You should not have to win by 10 points or 15 points so you can win by 1.

Plus the media is playing up Democratic problems while minimizing GOP problems and sick policies. I agree with your premise but not totally. The Democrats have to quit playing GOP lite.

The Democrats ignoring the Republican election fraud has gone on way too long. I'm losing all confidence in them because of this.

Hilary did not lose the election to tRump, it was stolen. Who actually won the Democratic primary is another whole issue. Wasserman-Schultz etc. were playing quite dirty. The Democratic party needs to take the popularity of Bernie's message to heart. I personally have no use for corporate Democrats because they aren't answering the major problems we face for fear of offending corporate sponsors who fund their campaigns.

We need to get a fearless Democratic majority. To do this we need to have fair elections, then we need to use that majority to get corporate money out of politics.
