Its amazing..we always had to cross 60 vote hurdle...i remember

Days of hair pulling because Republicans uttering the dreaded F word without actually doing the deed.

I don't understand all the rules..but how does Bitch McConnel get to do a full repeal with 50 votes.

first off, the coming vote is a motion to proceed, not the actual vote. Secondly, he does need 60 for a full repeal. only some parts were ruled elligible to be repealed under reconciliation with only 50. This was ruled by the senate parlementarian a few days ago.

but they may manage to put it on the agenda since some senators may be willing to do that. When it comes to the actual vote, I expect they are still in the same logjam.

They don't have to put their necks on the line for an awful bill and can tell their base that they tried but blame somebody else. But they will kill for a "win" at this point.

Far more can be done with 60 votes. Reconciliation has some significant limitations.

Also calling McConnell "Bitch" is sexist.
