I was a Girl Scout for 10 years, my brothers were Boy Scouts, my daughters were and are Girl Scouts.

I would be appalled if that disgusting excuse for a human being ever laid foot near any of us.

And sadly, the prominent former Boy Scouts on stage and Rex Tillerson and Jeff Sessions are supposedly prime examples of Boy Scouts?!?!?!?!? Are you kidding me?!
If that's who they believe Boy Scouts should follow as role models,we are in deep trouble. What on Earth has happened to our society?!? It is all so disturbing and sad. I was so uncomfortable watching this take place yesterday.

Where are the values we as Scouts learned?

This whole Trump thing has left me in disbelief since the day he announced his candidacy--and every time I think he has said or done something outrageous, it just gets worse!

I'm sitting here today trying to explain this to my inquisitive Girl Scout daughter.

Thank you, F'ing Pres. Drumpf! Thank you for causing anxiety, sadness, confusion, and every other screwed up angst-causing things you & your cabals have said and done!

It's bad enough that adults are having to deal with what you are doing but it is entirely disgraceful and unforgivable to do it to our impressionable youth!

5. The original SCOTUS case on scouting goes back to a violation of this rulel

I am a former scout leader and my son is an Eagle. The BSA has made great progress on the LGBT issue but back in my days, we had a "don't ask, don't tell" policy on LGBT in scouting that boiled down to the concept that no one cared if a scout or leader was LGBT so long as they did not wear their scout uniform to a gay pride event. There is a SCOTUS case on First Amendment and the right of association that upheld the BSA then rules on LGBT in scouting that due to an idiot young scout leader who did wear his uniform to a gay pride event. I understand that nothing would have happened to this leader if he did not push the issue by wearing his uniform to a gay pride parade.

I was one of the group of Jewish scout leaders who met with the leadership of my local district on the LGBT issue. Basically my troop and another troop were affiliated with organizations who had more than one third of the members of the board of the United Way and they understood that if the Council did anything the Council would risk losing funding. Money talks and we had no issues. When I took my scoutmaster fundamental training, I was told that there were several LGBT leaders in my district and no one cared.

Again, the BSA has made great progress on LGBT issues. The Dale case decided by the SCOTUS did not have to turn on LGBT issues but could have been decided on the basis of the above rule

My son and I are both pissed at trump and this incident.
