Us has been boiled like the proverbial frog since Reagan. Now we see the consequences.

ADDENDUM. I have watched the deep rot develop since 1981 at many levels of our country. We have become more and more economically insecure, more racist, more fearful, more angry, resentful and heartless, more stupid and on and on. Obama's election exposed how racist we had become in so many ways. His presidency exposed the deep vicious racism that was still present. The GOP found ways to grow it and revive it to new levels.

Trump is the end result of Reaganism and cause of our demise.

IF there are no laws against propaganda then words have no meaning. If we have no way to recount votes there are no free and fair elections. If our President can coordinate his ascension to leadership with the help of our foreign adversary, we are controlled by another country. When one by one our laws are being trampled, we have no protection.

When should we leave? Will we be welcome in other lands? If we stay how can we reclaim our lives our liberties and our happiness?

I always loved the promise of America. The words of the Preamble and the works of Jefferson, Lincoln, the stirrings were brought about by the longings of those who bled and died for freedom.Those desires are deep in me, but if our ideals are upended be coercion due to
a corrupt governing party I must think of a better survival other than a life under these oppressive thugs.
