Did I hear McCain say that.....

he was not going to vote for the health care bill as it is written right now! I wonder if his conscious is getting to him, or is he still in favor of repeal of the ACA, just because it was Obama's bill? I am confused!

governor of Arizona would replace mccain with an extreme right winger

Arizona isn't going to save anyone's healthcare. Just maybe Nevada and Ohio, but I wouldn't even count on that

Sad to say, McCain's Hamlet act will dupe a lot of gullible folks in the popular media. Later, when McCain casts his vote for whatever monstrosity of a bill the Senate brings forth, he'll say that all of his unspecified previous concerns were totally addressed, and now he's proud to vote for this great bill that will bring health and prosperity to the American people.

would have no problem with the republican death bill if they just funded Medicaid.

As far as I am aware he would have no problem with the cruz amendment, getting rid of the mandate, and lowering the subsidy requirement from 400% above the poverty level, to 300% or less, all which would effectively mean much higher premiums for those with pre-existing conditions, so much so that they could not afford the premium

Don't let McCain fool you, he is a hard right wing republican

men to ever serve in the Senate. Someone who has availed himself one way or another, probably since birth, with government sponsored healthcare insurance be it thru armed services or in the Senate. That makes it all the more hypocritical to vote on a procedure to take health insurance away from millions of American citizens whom have helped pay for his insurance thru taxes.
His legacy, such as it was, will now be one of total disgrace by his self aggrandizing support of his party over his constituents.
