Hot mic catches Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) mocking Rep. Blake Farenthold, R-Texas:
'He's so unattractive it's unbelievable'

Collins was ... snagged making unflattering remarks about Rep. Blake Farenthold, R-Texas, a day after he blamed "some female senators from the Northeast" for blocking health care legislation.

He said he wished he could challenge them to a duel "Aaron Burr-style."

"Did you see the one who challenged me to a duel?" Collins asks.

"I know," Reed replies. "Trust me. Do you know why he challenged you to a duel? 'Cause you could beat the s--- out of him."

Collins continues, "I don't mean to be unkind but he's so unattractive it's unbelievable."

Collins then mentions a widely circulated picture of Farenthold wearing baby blue pajamas with yellow ducks on them
as he poses in the photo with a big grin next to a scantily clad young woman.

7. Blake Farenthold's sister arrested in Corpus Christi drug raid

The sister of U.S. Rep. Blake Farenthold, R-Corpus Christi, was arrested on Monday in Corpus Christi, according to the city’s police department blotter.

Sue Farenthold, 48, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after members of a CCPD narcotics unit served a search warrant at a home she was in. Farenthold and two others she was with, including a known gang member, refused to vacate the home, according to police.

Police found methamphetamine, a “small amount” of heroin, a rifle and a shotgun at the scene.

The congressman issued a statement following the arrest expressing sadness about the "terrible news of the situation unfolding around my sister."
