I didn't post it here because a few of the tweets, while understandable in their anger and disappointment, felt like they were insensitive to cancer survivors in general. I've known a few personally...it's a line I'm not comfortable crossing.

But yeah, substitute the bed in your photo with the one from that Russian hotel, and substitute Trump for Bush, and that's basically what we got when the Senator "bravely" returned to the Senate floor yesterday.

It's a shame, and it's his legacy. He actually managed to pull off something worse that running on a ticket with Sarah Palin...much worse.

My opinion of him only got worse. Very vain, power-hungry and a overall a-hole. The phrase "Get off my lawn!!!" was written for old farts like him.

One of his nicknames here, other than mocking the "Maverick" handle, was Grampy McBush.

And "get off my lawn" made it into a LOT of thread titles and posts.

Same convention when some of those mouth breathers thought it was funny to wear Purple Heart band aids in order to mock Kerry. That's the same medal that McCain was awarded. At least then we knew what manner of man he really was and the party he was willing to serve.

...he -in true McCain fashion- neglects to mention he was a loyal Rethug foot soldier and gladly aided Comrade McConnell in usurping President Barrack Obama's right to selected Justice Merrick Garland. I'm from Arizona... old-line AZ Democrat family... McCain is about McCain and always has been, showboater and grandstander. Make no mistake, Maverick is a party man through-and-through and NEVER got over the fact that a black man was elected instead of him.
