50K fulfillment employees, holds new Jobs Day events at warehouses
Amazon needs more workers.
The Seattle tech giant announced today that it plans to hire another 50,000 employees who help prepare packages for shipment across its U.S. fulfillment network. About 80 percent of those openings are for full-time roles, with another 10,000 part-time jobs at the companys sortation centers.

Upon reflection, Trump has tried that already. He repaired the Wollman Ice Skating Rink in Central Park and promptly appropriated the name and there are signs hanging on it calling it the Trump Wollman Rink. Emphasis: he repaired it, didn't build it. Like your contractor putting his name on your house for caulking the tub.

(82,849 posts)Remember how jacked he got about the San Bernardino couple killed by an undocumented alien? Boy oh boy, that was never going to happen under a Trump administration. Well, here in Portland, a fellow who has been deported 20 times and has a rap sheet that includes bank robbery, assaulted two women on Monday. Somehow I think it will escape the president's notice, unless he can work in a sanctuary city angle or something.
