Huh? Eh?

Weird problem, here. Or hear. I've been watching The Daily Show on line, and can barely hear it. The commercials are plenty loud, but the program -- I have to lean in really close and still miss much of the dialogue. Volume control is at max, so I have no idea what the deal is.

Anyone else have this problem? And is there any way to fix it?

was that the background music and special effects sounds (especially ZHOOM, etc. on the Science Channel) overpowered everything else, including dialogue or narrators' voices. Also, as with your problem, some commercials blasted while the programs themselves were barely audible.

To fix the problems I went to the remote for the TV - NOT the DISH remote - and adjusted all the sound settings to Normal (no Surround Sound or any of that). I suggest that you, as I did, mess around with settings on the remote that came with your TV.

Good luck! Whatever the solution to your problem is, I hope you find it.
