http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/ufo/9392888/The-UFO-Files-aliens-might-come-here-for-holidays.htmlDocuments from the Ministry of Defence classified archives show staff believed aliens could visit for military reconnaissance, scientific research or tourism.
In a 1995 briefing now published by the National Archives, a desk officer said the purpose of reported alien craft sightings needs to be established as a matter of priority, adding there did not appear to be hostile intent.
The unnamed official said it was essential that we start with open minds, explaining what is scientific fact today may not be true tomorrow.
Clarifying he did not talk to little green men every night, he said: We have a remit that we have never satisfied. That is, we do not now (sic) if UFOs exist.

(40,416 posts)That's right! Thirty year high school reunions. Lots of intoxicated people trying to be more important than they really are. It's a target rich environment for the aliens, whose only apparent goals are sex and body probing.
(Here, the vernacular breaks down. The question remains whether, from the alien's perspective, there is any difference between the two.)
So when you go to your thirtieth and the person identifies him/herself and you remember the name but not the face, if you follow through for the night you may be setting yourself up for a good night's probing on a flying saucer. Bear in mind, they just may very well merely call it sex. Relax and enjoy.
Don't tell me I didn't warn you.

(36,988 posts)According to released documents during 2000 a search by MoD records staff revealed SHOCKING infomation that a collection of Defence Intelligence files covering the period 1980-82 (including on the famous Rendlesham Forest incident) had been destroyed, even though other files from the surrounding years had survived.
Records staff could not say when or why files were destroyed as the destruction certificates themselves were not retained for longer than five years (DEFE 2026 p182)
