Anybody want to make a guess on how long Kelly will last?

A Marine general won't enjoy dealing with the likes of Scaramucci, currently Trump's pet, or Bannon. He won't have any control over Jared and Ivanka, and he won't be able to do anything about Trump's behavior, including the early-morning tweets. Anyone in Trump's orbit ends up diminished or corrupted. How long will it be before Kelly is either fired or quits?

3. Kelly was looking for an easy exit from Trump's chaotic administration.

Kelly accepting the job as Trump's Chief of Staff, provides him with such an opportunity.

It's equivalent to Evil Knievel's Snake Canyon jump. Knievel knew he was going to pull the ejection lever long before entering the rocket.

Maybe Kelly thinks he can avoid stepping in Trump's shit, but since the Oval Office is hip-deep in it I don't know how he can avoid it. Trump is like a Dementor.

12. True that. Kelly's presence may have an influence

on Trump to a minor degree, but I don't expect any significant change. Trump is savvy enough not to mistreat a decorated military vet as he's done with Preibus, Spicer, Sessions and others.

what I cannot understand is how a Marine general could lower himself UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES to kiss the orange ass of a DRAFT DODGER / CHICKEN HAWK

he has been far more supportive of the shit trump does than i thought he would be. in the case of mattis and mcmaster there are things we read where they differ.

but kelly has been on tv defending all the shit.
