GOP Health Care Model Is Just Like Auto Insurance.

In order to understand exactly what the GOP wants to do look at their plan like auto insurance. Cost and coverage is directly related to usage. The more us the higher the premiums. And at some point there are limits put in place by the insurance company. And ALL policies are subject to cancellation without notice. On top of that you have to shop around for the best insurance deal. There are no regulations and the companies have all the power. In the end there are limitations on suing. Plus there would be a wide range of providers and you would have to find the right provider if you get sick to have coverage. If you are outside of a particular provider network. No coverage.

Plus the more coverage you buy the higher the cost. Every policy has many options. Plus only portions of costs are covered. There are no coverages that are 100%. Essentially all health insurance would be cafeteria style. And you would have to shop all over the country. There would be no insurance commissions.

What I have described above is really the model the GOP is striving for.

pet insurance. You pay the entire fee up front and then submit the paperwork and wait for months before they send you some of the money back. Maybe I should shut up before I give the repuks any ideas.

once the awful truth finally dawned on the booboisie. And it would. They're not all that stupid, not really.

It all makes perfect sense to them, they have the unshakable belief that disease is caused by sin or bad lifestyle and is therefore a consumer decision. You know, like speeding and racking up lots of tickets.

Brokers can get commissions from clients and Companies pay commissions to brokers as well (at least in CA).
