but I hadn't heard of Ben Sasse until reading this thread.

I think people tend to forget just how little-known most Senators, Governors, and Representatives outside of their home states.

I defy you to name my Senators and Governor without looking them up. I live in NM.

7. I'm a political junkie in Mass. and could name Martinez & Udall

Martinez because she's a female latina governor and had a dust up with Trump last year and Udall because I remember Mo Udall, so when I heard his name mentioned, I took note of it.

Ben Sasse has gotten a fair amount of press and he was the one talking to Bill Maher when Maher said the house ni**er comment.
