Wearing either of those items will probably guarantee me a solid ass-whipping from some brain-dead trump supporter in my area, but it's looking more and more worthwhile.

In 2014, while I was in Vienna, I bought a red ball cap that read "Republik Österreich" on the front and "Parlament" on the back. After the MAGA caps became popular, I wore it to my favorite watering hole, where a knucklehead asked me if what it meant. I told him it was "Republic of Austria" in German, and his next question was "is that some kind of joke?" I told him "no," but from the look on his face, I could tell he didn't believe me.
I'm a lot more careful where I wear it in public now. Instead I wear the t-shirt that reads "No Kangaroos in Austria," and it never fails to get a reaction from someone who cannot read.
