Is it just me, or is the announcement of sanctions against Venezuela

so hypocritical that I don't know whether to laugh or cry. They are talking about a dictator wannabe who is trying to ignore their Constitution. I just can't believe they are actually saying this. Can we sanction the White House and seize Trump's assets?

It makes me sick.

The U.S. has been sending $50 million dollars per year for right wingers to cause

upheaval in Venezuela.

The U.S. has done everything it can to sabotage Venezuela since Hugo Chavez was elected.

After his death they really ramped up their efforts.

The collapse of oil prices has really hurt Venezuela.

The U.S. has no business talking to any country about elections or humanitarian issues.

The U.S. allows the police to gun down unarmed citizens.

The U.S. locks up more of it's citizens than any country in the world.

I am so sick of the U.S. government, the Pentagon, and the CIA lying.

When are the gerrymandering issues going to be addressed in this country? Never.

When is voter suppression going to be addressed in this country ? Never.

Maduro himself is doing it, along with his cronies.

THEY are the ones screwing things up there, not some vague, nebulous "plot" by the right wing here in the US.

In Latin America, it's usually the "same (US sponsored) just shit", different day.

We'll just make sure the leftists get tossed out, run their economies through shocks and austerity plans, and prop up oppressive right wing dictators using SOA-trained thugs and torturers. Room for the IRI to get involved too.

The plot's so predictable it's boring.
