This President has disgraced America.

We have lost the respect of all of our allies. The lies and vulgarity are unprecedented.

He has demeaned and denigrated the office of the Presidency.

His level of incompetence is unparalleled in our history.

We are all less of a people for this experience.

at least if we can find a candidate who can change things.

Think how bad things were in 2008: wars, recession, banks failing, staggering unemployment etc. President Obama was the principal changer of those things. Remember when he was awarded the Nobel Peace Price not even one year into his administration? That was the whole world telling the US that you done good after 8 horrific years of W.

It can happen again with the right person, whoever he or she may be!

I talk to people from abroad.

They were taken aback by W, but universally took the tact that we would be back. And, he was simply a cocky dimwit. Didn't get it, but they accepted it.

45 is seen at best as an incompetent oaf, and by I most as an out and out fascist menace. The vibe now is that this is who we are. And, they see how radical our Congress is, too.

As if our bottom of the barrel displays a "greatness" that other nations could never achieve on their best days.

Phil Ochs song I remember hearing and I had never forgotten it. I was sad when I heard that he died, I am not sure I'm convinced that he committed suicide as reported. He was outspoken and too many outspoken and noted people have passed with the claim of suicide as the cause of their demise.

world looks on in abject horror. I still can't believe how bad it is. I suspected that it would be a clusterfuck of epic proportions, but I was wrong. It's a clusterfuck of Biblical proportions and I fervently hope that our institutions survive it. The Founding Fathers never counted on moronic, bigoted, willfully ignorant Americans electing a treasonous, crooked, incompetent Russian asset for POTUS.

No other president has had that.

From the_donald:

He's a patriot and has more genuine love for this country than any other president...also has a genius level IQ and is a master manipulator, The establishment never stood a chance. They have no idea who they're fucking with.
