Republicans to waive all environmental laws re Border Wall construction.

It's as thought their every goal is to say "Fuck the Environment!"

The Trump administration says it will bypass 37 environmental and other laws to expedite construction of a 15-mile-long section of President Donald Trump’s planned wall along the U.S.-Mexico border ― seemingly removing any doubt about whether the the wall will harm the environment.

Lots of people who own land on either side of the border will be impacted. There's also many wildlife refuges that cross the border. Trump's stupidity will generate many lawsuits.

It was pushed through post-911 at an amazing speed, probably so a post-W president couldn't have time to put on the brakes. But this is Trump we're talking about, I still think they're just going to slap up a few miles of more fence for the photo-op, score it as a cheap political win and all will be good. As with everything Trump the image it projects is way more important than any meaningful results.

And where does Trump get off thinking he's dictator of all he surveys?
Obey the law, asshole.
