Toward or Towards.

It's my understanding, in the states, toward is always the appropriate usage. That said, it's also my understanding that towards is grammatically correct.

What say you?

Both are grammatically correct, the difference is only colloquial... the -s is used commonly in the King's English, while lack of the -s is American and Canadian English (Chicago Manual of Style).
