Visiting Mt. St. Helens after it exploded made a strong impression on me.

A photographer friend worked on a St. Helens photo contest. His private slide show was the boss.
I saw most of the early eruptions up close, but missed getting blown away. I slept in the morning it blew big time.

in the path of that flow. I hope that nobody is threatened, but I imagine there are people in danger there.

I have no idea if today's eruption is worse than other recent eruptions
