"All about the base".....and not the awesome song by Meghan Trainor

Why do lotsa talking heads keep up the mantra all about the base referring to tRumps constituents???? How big of an organization is this base and why do they carry so much weight when his positive numbers are in the toilet??? I don't get it.

Apparently the base is the only group that likes him. I think this immigration thing is throwing something to the base to keep their support while he is screwing them with the long con...
He likes to campaign, not to govern... He can't get a win...

But more importantly, they are concentrated in red districts that the GOP needs to keep in 2018. As long as they are motivated and happy, the GOP has a good chance of keeping the House.

I think as time goes, we will see more and more fall off, and that is where the base will end up. I see the problem with the base being, an aggressive, stupid, uninformed, violent, bigoted, group and they may be disruptive and cause a lot of issues we have to address. The Republican party both ran scared and used them for their power. But that base has help Republicans in check. I think the McCain's and Graham's now figure they can move away from Trump, that they have more than Trumps base.
