I cannot imagine where we will be as a country if Donald Trump is running for re-election in November 2020?

What would happen if Donald Trump and all his associates are cleared of any wrongdoing in the Russia investigation?

2. Indictments and no convictions means the deplorables partying in the streets.

Trump's 35% base...all by itself...can't re-elect him. We need to focus in everybody else. And I still stand on what I have said here previously...Trump is going to have to hurt many people, either via TrumpCare or some other means, and they will have to know it was the result of his actions, before we can flip a sizable chunk of his voters who aren't a part of the 35%.

Trump has slithered away throughout his career. He could end up doing it here, too, as long as Ryan and McConnell have his back.

We need a strong candidate for 2020. They're going to need the brains and experience and skill to do the job, and they're going to reek of charisma.

That's how we'll win.

Trump can be extremely unpopular in 2020, but if the Democrats don't run a strong candidate, he'll win again.
