Just completed call with President Moon of South Korea. Very happy and impressed with 15-0 United Nations vote on North Korea sanctions.

Honestly, I believe that President Moon is happy with the UN sanctions vote.

But after seeing those transcripts of Trump's phone calls last week, I suspect a full transcript of tonight's call would also be an embarrassing read, showing just how clueless and insecure and vain Trump is.

And I wouldn't be at all surprised if Trump wanted to boast about tonight's call in the hope of repairing the damage to his image that those transcripts did.

But why would anyone believe him?

2. That's assuming there actually was a real phone call with Moon.

The phone calls Trump claimed he got from the head of the Boy Scouts ("I got a call from the head of the Boy Scouts saying it was the greatest speech that was ever made to them, and they were very thankful" ) and the President of Mexico ("Even the president of Mexico called me. How do we know he had a phone conversation with Moon at all, let alone one in which Moon said he was "happy and impressed"?
