Americans are shortchanged not because of outsourcing, offshoring, high taxes, regulations, and bad health care. They are disadvantaged because of an ideologically driven willful gullibility where we consent to politicians screwing us.

When TSHTF. A LOT of people are going to be heading North AND South (Mexico, talking to you, and I speak Spanish, sorta...) if everything goes bad up here. Unless Calexit happens, of course...

2. We have a propaganda arm so pervasive it amounts to cult like programming.

Texas haas been red in rural areas mainly because they have only a few radio stations for most of the state. These stations invariably have RW talk 24/7/365. All they hear are negative stories and fake news about Democrats, mainly Obama, Hillary and Nancy Pelosi.

There is no counter view point at all. Sean Hannity is on all of them and they flock to Fox when watching TV. Until we bust up the media oligopoly and require truth in the news we will have these types to contend with.

3. That is so true. It's up there with gerrymandering and allowing unlimited money

to finance politicians. If you factor in the "Christians" who are racist and sexist how are Dems ever going to win a presidential election?
