Mr. Turner did us a disservice when he created Cable News Service. Little of what airs on these cable shows is journalism, mostly it is opinion and editorial. This has tainted the actual news reports as they try to compete with the absurd popularity of Faux and Fiends, Morning Joke, Tweetie, et al. It was refreshing a few years ago to watch regular BBC news shows. It was just the news and no bovine excrement.
