Incriminating: Trump called for acting FBI directors firing hrs after FBI raided Manafort's home

Trump called for acting FBI director’s firing hours after FBI agents raided Paul Manafort’s home
An incriminating fact-pattern emerges.

......

In light of the news about the raid of Manafort’s home, Trump’s tweets on the day of July 26 are of renewed interests. That was the day Trump abruptly posted a string of tweets tweets announcing “that the United States government will not accept or allow [t]ransgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military.” Last Friday, Politico reported that Trump’s declaration stunned White House and Department of Defense lawyers who had warned him against such a ban.

But more directly of interest are factually inaccurate tweets Trump posted later that day asking why Attorney General Jeff Sessions hadn’t moved to replace then-acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe.

In June, the Post reported that special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump campaign includes “an examination of whether President Trump attempted to obstruct justice” by asking former FBI Director James Comey to stop investigating his associates before firing him in May. The fact pattern of July 26 certainly won’t quell suspicions that Trump has tried to exert inappropriate pressure on the Department of Justice to kneecap an investigation into his campaign for possible collusion with Russia.

Manafort attended a June 2016 meeting between Trump campaign officials and a Russian lawyer who promised through an intermediary to provide the campaign with incrimination information about Hillary Clinton on behalf of the Kremlin. Emails Donald Trump Jr. released last month showing how the meeting was set up indicate the Trump campaign was, at the very least, eager to collude.

Last week, news broke that Mueller had issued grand jury subpoenas related to the June 2016 meeting. The Post reports that the search warrant agents used to raid Manafort’s home “was wide-ranging and FBI agents working with special counsel Robert S. Mueller III departed the home with various records.”

OF course, there is no such thing as "justice" in a nation run by the GOP.

streets of San Diego for the Impeachment March. The neo Nazi group called the Proud Boys (draped in flags of course) came down to incite violence and they almost did. They are very good at it too. The cops stood around and watched until a guest speaker, an assemble person, called the chief of police. I wore a flag shirt and smile and gave them the "peace sign" and that pissed them off. Two days ago I bought a new US flag to wear as a cape for my next March (they think they own the flag and are the true patriots).

RESIST! Peace.

college students, and I had several last year who were very politically active--and one who switched to a prelaw major with a political science minor because he figured that would help prepare him to run for office. He also was one of the main volunteer campaign organizers in the state for Bernie's campaign in the primary, and for Hillary's in the general.

Don't assume the kids are not doing anything just because you can't see what they are doing. Sure, many are apathetic, just as many adults are, but many are not just fully engaged but also laying the groundwork for even more effective future engagement.

I expect. Manafort was off having affairs with women half his age, and there's Trump, stuck with a job like "president" and having to hang around the Oval Office (notice I didn't accuse him of WORKING in the oval Office). Trump's roguish ways have been seriously thwarted by this "president thing".

And a belated welcome to DU, MurderMitten!

That used to be Trumps forte, sleeping with and groping women half his age. The Trump controlled Enquirer also paid a former Playboy Playmate $150,000 for her story about her affair with Trump, and they just sat on it and never published it. Hmmm, lot of money for no actual printing...

this is mere coincidence in the same way that the Trumpster and his circle's outrageous statements are merely jokes. Or as Malcolm Nance has repeatedly said:'These coincidences take a lot of planning.' Or as Paul Wellstone and/or Biden said, "There are no coincidences in politics.'

I'm also sure the Trumpster thinks he's oh, so very clever.
