1. Have to bring back the draft, first!

A military draft isn't very popular with many members of Congress, especially the Republicans...because of the changes in how the Selective Service System now works!

No more school exemptions like Trump received, at least not how they use to do it! And I believe that MEPS medical personnel will make determinations as to who is and isn't physically fit, no more notes from the family's friendly doctor, like Limbaugh and Trump!

And the local boards are selected from a diverse pool of people, not just professionals who wear a coat and tie!

But I wouldn't worry too much about it!

I would dissuade them from doing it - because we have a loose cannon in the White House that really doesn't care about my kid - he just cares about how his ego will be stoked.

I feel so sorry for the parents that already have their kids in the military. How do they sleep at night?

I know that I should be thinking - patriotism - and it's noble to die for one's country. But how do I justify that when you have a madman like Trump going off with 'fire and fury' comments.

Yesterday - whether they meant it or not - Trump put all our American Citizens and Military on the Island of Guam - in harms way.

How could one do that to our own citizens? What was Trump thinking?

Beyond that - if I was just married and considering starting a family - I'd have to think long and hard about that decision. Do I want my kid to grow up in a world where he/she is going to be raised in a stressed out environment all their life?

I'm and old geezer. But I feel for the youth of our nation that will have to deal with a world where there is total disregard for them.
